As I read this today, I was reminded of Jesus saying “It is finished” — which is the point of this passage as well, in a sense. We need nothing else but Jesus — following Him wholeheartedly. My heart breaks for those who are looking to politics to give them a “voice;” that means their hearts are divided and they don’t believe God is enough.
